  • "When I first saw the ad for the retreat, I felt very drawn to the idea of rest and rejuvenation at the new year. The retreat was what I wanted and so much more. I felt initially hesitant because I didn’t know anyone but the energy of these beautiful GODDESSES was calling me. I had a deep meaningful experience physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I felt like I made some major breakthroughs and had some realizations about where I would like to grow and what parts of myself need healing. Harlyjane and Tara were so kind, so loving, so approachable and so patient. They showed true care and concern for each one of us. The food was FABULOUS and DELICIOUS and I couldn’t believe it was vegetarian. I am not a vegetarian but enjoyed every meal tremendously I felt healthy and satisfied and my body felt loved it. I highly recommend this retreat or any retreat with either or both Harlyjane and Tara. I have made lifelong friends snd supporters with the facilitators and the fellow attendees! Cliche or not, this retreat changed my life!"

  • "At 52 this was my first retreat of any kind. This retreat rejuvenated & reset my internal thinking. I was at ease with the group & the instructors. There was a nice mixture of activities & quiet time. The shared rooms were a good size & the beds were comfortable. The building is spacious & and warm so don't worry about being cold. Pack short sleeves & even shorts. The meals are hearty & feeds your soul. We did yoga, had some ceremonies, and other activities. Nothing was rushed and the time for each breezed by. I highly recommend attending a Hygge Hideaway Retreat you will not be disappointed. "

  • "Tara's Thriving Through Thawing workshop was absolutely incredible. The setting was gorgeous, and finding other women to connect with was truly magical. Tara has a way of communicating that is open, grounding, and makes you feel very safe. She gently encourages you to discover the parts of yourself that you may be avoiding, and nurtures you into exploration and growth. I'd never heard of the concept of "wintering" before, but it resonated so deeply with me once Tara started guiding us through the workshop. My biggest takeaway from the morning was a feeling of gratitude to have discovered so much about myself in so little time, as well as connected with local women whom I am now developing lasting friendships with. As a bonus, I also did a cold-ending to my shower for the first time today, and am absolutely hooked! Very excited for whatever Tara offers next!"

  • "I loved the sauna and icy plunge experience! Sitting with women and chatting while sweating in the sweet steam of the sauna, laughing and supporting one another all the while anticipation builds to lower yourself into the icy tub. Your breath catches as you hear Tara say, “Breathe, in and out, in and out…” I lost the cold and felt my warm core radiating outward. For one blissful moment I realized I was experiencing an incredible bit of time. Stepping out, back into the cold winter air made my body feel stunningly alive!"

  • "I found this retreat powerful in letting me release negative things I should have let go of a long time ago. Tara and HarlyJane create a space that feels safe and warm. They provided a healthy balance of sharing and providing space to just be and heal. I was worried when I read that it would be a vegetarian diet being someone who eats meat. I was floored by how good the food was! Tracy is a goddess with preparing food. If you have concerns about going to a women’s retreat because you fear being judged, feeling shame or embarrassment you don’t have to worry here. I felt safe and loved here.
